Welcome!
Welcome to Pop Goes the Library: The Wiki! This wiki is maintained by Sophie Brookover and Elizabeth Burns, and is the online home of the many, many links we refer to in our book, Pop Goes the Library: Using Pop Culture to Connect With Your Whole Community.
We know that the Web is an ever-changing organism, and we decided to start and maintain this wiki to make sure that the online content of our book remains as fresh as the day you bought it. (Actually, since we handed in our revised galleys, some of the sites we linked to have gone offline or changed domain names, so there are already some updates here as of July 30, 2008!)
In addition to updating changed or dead links, we will be adding new resources -- websites, blogs, listservs, magazines, and other useful online tools and information -- as we become aware of them. Whenever there is a major update to the wiki, we will post about it in the book's blog.
